My work is an exploration of interconnection between the ancient art of kintsugi, the spiritual world of chakras, and the emotional resonance of color. "Renewal" is a visual representation of the transformative power of embracing imperfections, the balance of energies within, and the vibrancy of the human experience.
Color, a universal language that transcends words, plays a pivotal role in my artwork. The colors associated with chakras guide the visual narrative of transformation.
”Vibrations I” represents the combination of the 3rd (Solar Plexus) and 5th (Throat) chakras. The energy field for the 3rd chakra is yellow and represents our personal power. The energy field for the 5th chakra is blue and represents our self-expression. Having the power to speak one’s truth is essential to an enlightened soul. Imperfect life experiences can interfere with a person’s ability to be authentic. The gold kintsugi lines represent the renewal of these chakras as we find our agency.
